So very sorry for the loss of your Mother. She was truly a servant of her Lord and will find her rightful spot in heaven. She will be sadly missed by each of you, but comfort will come from knowing whose she was and where she is. God’s blessings and our love to each of you. Love always, Leon & Mary Jane

Roberta was a major figure in my life, especially during my teen years. I remember most of all her humility and capacity for empathy. Yet it is true that she took on many challenges and served the community in significant ways. Often she was one of the few adults with whom I could share a conversation.

What a joyful and welcoming person Roberta was to all who met her. She was so giving and accepting. A mentor to so many at the library and beyond. I enjoyed visiting with her often and discussing her many projects. My sympathy to all the family.
