This is for Jana… Hearing your name hurts. It is upsetting. There is an extreme feeling of loss that can never, be replaced. But when I think of you, not as a lost loved one, but of all the memories. The books we both loved and shared, your patience all times I had to call and ask for advice on everything! The way you just unconditionally stepped up and loved me and was there after mom was gone and helped fill that emptiness. I can not remember you not being part of my life, I love you and will miss you every day.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Our family lived a half a block away from her. Jana and I were pretty good friends during that time. I remember playing on the tree vines in her backyard. She was always happy. After I was married I lost track of her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all through this hard time.

Jana and Rod were the best friends anyone could ask for. I hate to think of Rod and the loss he must be feeling right now. We lost our spouses nearly a year apart. My husband Ron was married to Rod’s sister and they remained friends for years. Jana had such a huge heart and meeting her was like meeting a long lost family member. I will miss Jana and our times together. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to see each other with this virus going around and I will cherish our memories forever. What a great lady she was. Rest in peace Jana, you are missed already
