My deepest sympathies for your family, in the loss of your mom. She, and her smiling face will be missed. I hope you all can take some comfort in the knowledge that even though she has been called home, she will always be with you, as you continue in your own journeys through life.

I was saddened this morning when I noticed the loss of your mother. I worked for a short time with your mother at Walmart and yes she always had a positive, upbeat attitude no matter how her day was going. She definitely loved her family as she was always telling us the highlight of every visit with family.

Hoping that time is kind to your heart and brings you sweet memories in place of sadness.

So very sorry for the loss of your Mom. I worked with Bernice at Walmart Pharmacy in Aberdeen. I remember how much she loved you kids and I’m sure we shared lots of stories about you all and my kids too. I remember her being bigger than life and embracing everything!! Every fall I think back on those times when I make my refrigerator pickles and follow the recipe she wrote for me with her name right there on the top. Gods Blessings for all of you!! May God grant you Peace during this hard time…..

My husband Millard and I were shocked to hear of Bernice’s death. We send our sympathy to all her family and friends. We knew Bernice because of her work at the Walmart pharmacy in Yankton. We both loved her upbeat attitude and smiling face! She was always pleasant and helped us with a smile on her face. We will miss her!! Laurel and Millard Merkwan

So sorry for your loss, whenever I was in Walmart I’d go by the pharmacy just to say hi. She will be truly missed. I didn’t know she died until tonight or I would have been there. We were friends on Facebook.
